A Moon void between 6:36 – 9:46AM NY may get the East Coast off to a loopy start…and as the day progresses, efforts to establish emotional security (the Moon will be in Cancer), may be thwarted by sudden limitation (the possible down side)…or bolstered by plans that begin to take solid form (the possible up side). I’m hearing stories of explosive confrontations (ego-based), sudden crises in a doctor’s office and an overall busier-than-business as usual mood of the day. Also hearing stories of deals coming close to fruition — especially speculative proposals backed by an enthusiastic and innovative sales pitch — and all of this fits within the realm of possibility suggested by the planets this week.
Today the Moon is still in me-me-me Aries, suggesting abundant enthusiasm and pioneering strategies, on the one hand — and the possibility for more ego spats if someone feels they are not being Recognized. TGIF! While the Moon (emotional response) is not being buffeted around like tumbleweed today, we are approaching a challenge between ruthless Pluto and the Sun, exact Saturday at 8:24PM NY. Already we are seeing in the headlines more revelations of corruption in hallowed institutions, like GMAC admitting that it signed off on thousands of foreclosures without actually reading any of the files, despite the fact that it was legally obligated to do so. And then there are health “insurers”, scrambling as best they can to put their bottom line first, no matter what (which, for the record, they are legally obligated to do), with endearing strategies like eliminating health insurance policies for children. Well, thanks to Pluto moving through Capricorn, they’re not hidden anymore ; )
Saturday the Moon is Void from 9:12AM – 4:17PM NY — so consider yourself advised to avoid impulse shopping during this time period. Odds are you don’t really need it — and later you’ll wonder why you bought it. The key word here is “impulse”. If it’s something you’ve already scoped out, planned to purchase — and are just waiting for the weekend to pick it up, that’s another story. Mother Nature sure made it happen in my neck of the woods: a “tornado-like storm” landed right outside my building in the normally utterly uneventful town of Forest Hills. I have a confession to make: I don’t always post certain possibilities in this forecast — I prefer to stay positive. After all, planets don’t do things, people do! So I didn’t write yesterday that the Jupiter (expansion) — Uranus (bolt from the blue, shock to the system) in Pisces (water, water everywhere) might bring about certain sudden, unusual, forceful weather — such as a storm! So perhaps I’ll go on record more often. And I’ll remind you all to put together your emergency kit if you haven’t done so already: water, canned food, cash, first aid kit, etc. Put one in your car, too! We are in a volatile planetary cycle – meaning Mother Nature is more inclined to “make it happen” than usual. And it’s hard to forecast exactly where these events will occur. So be prepared. Aside from further outbursts likely related to the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction that’s exact on Saturday, Friday should feel relatively balanced. Still a good day to get things accomplished, even if you’re leaving work early for a day of atonement. Saturday has plenty of connections to a Moon in the sign of socially significant Aquarius, an air sign (please, no more storms). Sunday should be quieter than Saturday.
