I have been sitting with the incredible experience of your gift and knowledge and letting it sift down into my understanding and psyche. It was a powerful time for me. I told a friend, "she is the real deal." I don't say that very often!

Tuesday 5/16/2017 & So Forth: Sneak Peek at the Week; Old Guard Meets Avant Garde

The enterprising Capricorn Moon goes void at 6:22 AM ET, not to enter Aquarius until 1:50 PM ET. The void occurs on a challenge to the Moon from disruptive Uranus. Maybe a shake-up to the morning headlines?

Regardless, the Moon void is your excuse for whatever flake or twist disrupts your efforts to move forward in a straight line. If you sleep in, no biggie. Whatever crisis lands on your desk may be much ado about nothing. The focus kicks in once the Moon is engaged in Aquarius, sign of humanitarians and best buddies everywhere. After lunch on the East Coast, arise, go forth and network.

At 12:07 AM ET, Mercury left RAMbunctious Aries for the slower and greener pastures of Taurus. That impatient edge to thinking and communication is replaced by a more deliberate, risk-avoidant approach until June 6th, when Mercury zips into Gemini. One more week and we’re out of the Mercury retrograde shadow, moving ideas forward again. For today, note the potential for a stubborn clash in communications around 2:55PM ET, when the Moon squares Mercury.

Planetary patterns are light for most of the week. Whatever your agenda is, push it forward. Experience is teaching me that these weeks of light action do not mean nothing will happen. Quite the contrary, some of the most stunning events have happened during these lulls — and by stunning, I mean the way you’re looking at an ice shelf in Antarctica…and suddenly it just falls into the ocean, like Humpty Dumpty. Whoa.

On THURSDAY we’ll have the Third Quarter Moon at 8:33 PM ET — testing whatever illumination and release happened on last week’s moody bastard Full Moon. This Third Quarter Moon happens at 28 Aquarius-Taurus, which means it directly hits the angles of P45’s horoscope. FYI, today the Sun met up with P45’s Midheaven, suggesting an opportunity to be in the spotlight, for better or for worse. Chill between 8:33 PM ET and 11:52 PM ET — Moon will be void — and then will enter soulful Pisces, needing to identifying impressions and ideals. Go with the flow.

On Friday at 2:19 AM ET we’ll have Part 2 of three easy alignments between Saturn in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries. I wrote about this back in December 2016:

Pattern #1: Saturn trine Uranus.

Keywords for Saturn include the old guard, patriarchy, authority, ambition, gravitas, structure, fear, control, limits, brick walls, time and borders. Saturn is in Sagittarius for most of 2017, as it was in 2016. Thus, we expect to see structuring efforts in Sagittarius concerns which include: publishing, foreigners, collective beliefs (legal, higher education and religious), opinions, broad comedy and the need to push boundaries. Possible manifestations include efforts to control the media, collective thoughts, personal opinions and borders. This includes access and censorship.

Keywords for Uranus include disruption, the avant garde, innovation, seismic events, aviation, genetic mutation, shocks, technology, eccentricity, freedom, astrology, fringes, chaos and rebellion. Uranus is in Aries through 2017 and has been there since March 2011, the day of the earthquake in Fukushima. So we the continued potential for innovation and disruption in Aries concerns such as self-reliance (think: gig economy); war (think: drones); automobiles (think: self-driving, Uber et.al); head injuries (think: concussions; amazing tech cures).  Got that?

With Saturn and Uranus symbolically in harmony, we see the potential for cooperation between the old guard and the avant garde; innovation and structure – for better or for worse. What could that suggest? Here’s a recent example, perhaps: the Electoral College — an old-guard institution — votes for the Uranian Trump. Here’s a hypothetical scenario for 2017:  old guard Republican senators like John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Susan Collins break ranks to support a bill introduced by the opposing party to…errm…uhhhh…I have no idea. Russia something? Rosh Hashanah? But somehow they are able to reach across the aisle in a curious coalition.

Another scenario: lawmakers approve tons of legislation to use technology (Uranus) to control, limit or structure (Saturn) access and expression of opinion (Sagittarius) by individuals (Aries). So much for that “controversial” visitor registry President Obama ordered to be dismantled? Perhaps. Another scenario: the Powers That Be (Saturn) are united in their efforts to shake up the system (Uranus). Organized chaos? We shall see.

You are more personally affected by the potential to structure your ambition with surprising innovation if you have a planet or angle around 19-27 degrees of just about any sign, and especially 27 Leo. The exact dates of this trine are Dec 24, 2016; May 19 2017 and Nov 11, 2017.

Well?

Also on Friday, and influencing the week: an indulgent and exuberant face-off between Jupiter in Libra and Venus in Aries. Watch the courts for over-the-top judgments on matters concerning women.  Maybe we’ll have a helpful headline about sugar and/or diabetes.

On SATURDAY, say bye-bye to the Sun in Taurus and hello to the Sun in pixie chatterbox Gemini at 4:31 PM ET. And there you have the Sneak Peek at the Week.

Will get to the news in the next forecast. Meanwhile, if you’re curious to know how these patterns are reflected in your own personal horoscope, consider booking a consultation. If you’ve been putting it off — now is the time to do it, as my rates will increase next month.

Thank you for reading this forecast.  You are awesome!
