Astro-logical Forecast for Monday 6/11/2012: Brainstorm Alert

Happy Monday! And how was your “perfectly lovely weekend”? Mine went as forecast, so much that I couldn’t even bring myself to focus on the first day of the work week until now — and wouldn’t you know it, the Moon is void of course all day in intuitive Pisces, not to enter fiery Aries until 12:21AM ET on Tuesday.

As regular readers of this forecast know, when the Moon is void, we may experience unexpected twists in our efforts to move in a straight line. Crises that crop up later turn out to be much ado about nothing. Your waitress may greet you with a cheerful “Good Morning!”, even though it’s 2PM in the afternoon. Or you may be in the middle of writing an astro-logical forecast, and someone who was supposed to show up on your doorstep at 11AM wants to know if he can be there in ten minutes (apologies for the delayed forecast — and presumably you’re all just going with the flow!).

Today’s dreamy Pisces Moon got off to a super-charged start this morning. While you were sleeping, Moon was opposed by aggressive Mars (3:16Am ET) and squared by the Sun (6:41AM ET), suggesting possible clashes of will that may have manifested in your dreams (mine sure did!) and another hit of whatever revolutionary/visionary communication and mindset you projected as part of your New Moon agenda three weeks ago.

Innovation and revelation in thought, communication and transportation are especially strong today, as mental Mercury is squared and energized by brilliant, status quo disrupting Uranus (1:42PM ET) and opposed by ruthless, corruption-exposing Pluto (9:04PM ET). This should make for truly offbeat headlines — like this one about the US Secretary of Commerce allegedly involved in a weird traffic accident, which the latest press release says may have been as a result of a “seizure” (which sounds very Mercury square Uranus to me).

But wait — there’s more! Geminis around the world are dancing for joy because Jupiter, the cosmic sugar daddy moves into Gemini at 1:22PM ET. I will write more on this in tomorrow’s forecast, because if I don’t ship this now, it won’t show up in your mailbox for another hour. I’ll only say this: Jupiter at 1 degree of Gemini will likely trigger the New Moon/solar eclipse we had at 1 Gemini on May 20th. I anticipate a release of a bottleneck of information that allows us to see more clearly into the murky depths.

Stay tuned…

Astro-logical Forecast for Saturday & Sunday 12/31/2011-1/1/2012: Happy New Year!

Saturday began with Moon zipping into feisty Aries at 4:48AM ET, where it soon collided with rebel Uranus at 6:28AM ET. That’s quite a shift from the dreamy, fluid energy of the Moon  in Pisces void we had all day Friday — and I’ve been hearing some wonderful tales of adventure from those who could go with the flow of whatever surprise twists came their way.

Moon voids are excellent for rest and relaxation — and they can be a lot of fun, if you let go of any controlling desire you may have to move in a straight line. My adventures included a surprise free lunch at the office, followed by a magical trip to Nordstrom Rack to return a purse (voids are excellent for making returns). Why magical? Because it turned out that the purse I was returning was exactly what the cashier wanted for Christmas — and there were none to be had at any Nordstrom Rack anywhere!! Isn’t that wild? I couldn’t resist spending two glorious hours in the shoe department (Pisces rules the feet), knowing darn well that whatever impulse purchase I made would also have to be returned, especially the camouflage cowboy boots, which, cool as they may be, are completely impractical and unnecessary (avoid sudden impulse purchases during Moon voids).

Back to Saturday. You may have sensed — and are still sensing — the much more proactive, get-it-done-yesterday charge of the Aries Moon. Very useful for all sorts of initiatives and chores, as well as racing through traffic lights and falling down stairs because it is faster than walking. If you are going out to ring in the New Year, be advised that Mercury in opinionated Sagittarius will be challenged by fiery Mars in stickler Virgo at 1:06AM ET on Sunday, suggesting the potential for sharp words and reckless driving. Not only that, but rebel Uranus is running wild again in the heavens, suggesting a need for risk and other status quo disruptions. Please be mindful if you are on the roads; it would not surprise me at all to see headlines tomorrow reflecting this excitable planetary pattern.

The first challenge to your New Moon agenda is also scheduled to hit early Sunday morning, as the Aries Moon squares the Capricorn Sun. Other than that wild Uranus suggesting news of rebellion, aerospace, technology — and perhaps even astrology, the day offers the potential for a fine time socializing all day long.

Wishing you all a joyous New Year — I will post a forecast for 2012 sometime over the holiday weekend. Stay tuned…and thanks for reading!

Astro-logical Forecast for Wednesday 7/20/2011

What was I saying about Moon in Pisces preferring the nearest escape hatch over conflict, and yesterday’s potential for a verbal assault in the early afternoon? How about this compromise: a paper plate of shaving cream, employed as a presumably benign weapon of choice in at least one “assault” that made headlines yesterday afternoon during Rupert Murdoch’s visit to Parliament http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/20/world/europe/20wendi.html Murdoch’s wife, Wendi Deng Murdoch attracted much attention for leaping to her husband’s defense during this bizarre kerfuffle. A quick look at her birth date: December 8, 1968, revealed patterns as expected, including the suggestion of a challenging relationship with the father & a mother who may have interfered with her need for independence. Also suggested: fierce determination and a likely need to marry for status, echoed by a strong possibility of being known for associations with powerful, wealthy people.

Today, Moon is void of course from 7:15AM – 12:25PM ET, suggesting a slow start or unexpected twist. The dreamy flow quickly changes gear when Moon zips into me-me-me Aries and charges forward for the rest of the day. A potential surprise, jolt or revelation is scheduled to show up around 9:30PM ET, followed by potential news from underground around 11:45PM.

Astro-logical Forecast for Thursday 6/23/2011

Audio feeds crashing, cell phones forgotten, other things misplaced and misnamed — that’s what I’ve been hearing about yesterday’s 24-plus hours of Moon void in free-flowing Pisces, under the influence of a Neptune rose-colored fog. What about you?
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke seemed to be in a bit of a fog during yesterday’s press conference in which he gave a halting, uninspiring account of the Fed’s economic projections on inflation, unemployment, etc. over the next couple of years. Nothing of consequence was said (the markets were unmoved by the speech). I’m not an economist, but I do study planetary patterns. And when I look at what’s going on with the horoscope of Greece, for example, and I see equally intense patterns building in the horoscope of the United States (exact in 2014), the more convinced I am that the status quo, whatever it is, is bound to be disrupted and transformed. Meanwhile, late July to mid-August is likely to be very hot in Greece (again), and I am not referring to the weather.

In other news, last night President Obama spoke of “the tide of war receding”. What is it with these ocean metaphors? Neptune, ruler of oceans, so prominent?  It is true that yesterday’s Sun-Neptune connection holds potential for peace and enlightenment, suggesting a fitting time to announce a withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. And perhaps we should be focusing more on oceans than on wars, as suggested here http://www.truth-out.org/scientists-warn-oceans-marine-life-brink-extinction/1308765143  and here http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/climate-of-denial-20110622?page=1 — with both articles published yesterday.
In your own personal world, how is that new way of thinking progressing (recall the themes suggested by this month’s New Moon)? Another challenge/illumination may inspire you to take action when Moon enters pioneering Aries at 4:24AM ET and squares the Cancer Sun at 7:48AM ET. A faster pace than yesterday prevails, marked by a potential jolt — or bolt — from the blue around lunchtime on the East Coast, followed by a potentially powerful and/or cathartic encounter around dinner time.

General note for the next several days: the potential for storms, seismic activity or other news from underground is elevated. Watch the headlines (tornado watch in New Jersey yesterday!) for details.

Astro-logical Forecast for Friday 3/25/2011

I had a lovely forecast written up and was just about to post it, when a phone call from a dear friend took me away from the computer for over an hour. When I returned, the battery was dead, and the forecast was history. Tim Pawlenty’s horoscope will have to wait, as will an answer to a dear reader’s query about the latest cloud of volcanic ash traveling east from Iceland.

Moon is in Pisces today, going void at 2:15PM EDT today…moving into Aries at 8:36 PM EDT  on THURSDAY. That’s a long time to go with the flow, but flow you must or you could make yourself crazy turning molehills into mountains.

You could also consider the writings of Don Miguel Ruiz, whose book THE FOUR AGREEMENTS advises strict adherence to the following:

  • Be impeccable with your word.
  • Don’t take anything personally.
  • Don’t make assumptions.
  • Always do your best.

http://www.humanpotentialunlimited.com/Summary-content.html  With gratitude to Fabio Ostroviesky, a former colleague and caring soul who left this earth sooner than anyone could have imagined. He turned me on to Ruiz’s wise little book, and now I’m passing it on to you.
