Moon enters Scorpio at 5:13AM ET, seeking depth, substance and knowledge for the sake of power and control. And perhaps it will find some knowledge — or at least a productive exchange around 8:41AM ET, when the Moon makes a harmonious connection with mental Mercury. The day may soften as it progresses, courtesy of a lovely connection between the intense Scorpio Moon and dreamy Neptune. Good for artists, visionaries, healers and spiritual types.
It’s the last full day of the Sun in Pisces. The Vernal Equinox occurs on Thursday at 12:57PM ET, when the Sun enter Aries. Oh happy first day of Spring! But first, let’s pause for a moment and contemplate the wisdom that can only be gained from experience. Here’s an article that was published on last week’s sobering square between Saturn (the elderly) and Mercury (youth, mindset). It’s called “The Science of Older and Wiser,” and there’s a quiz you can take to find out how wise you really are.
Meanwhile, if you live in the Northeast — and especially New York — and you’re up at 2AM, you can watch the fixed star Regulus be eclipsed by an asteroid — a rare celestial event. Regulus is one of the brightest stars in the sky, and it is also a so-called Royal Star, associated with the Archangel Raphael (who is also one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse). The asteroid in question is called Erigone 163. Interesting to note that Erigone is female; the sixth paragraph in this article talks about her. I’m not sure what to make of the symbolism of this rare celestial event, but it seems quite rich — and it is intriguing that it is happening on the Vernal Equinox and right over Manhattan…
