Astro-logical Forecast for Wednesday 1/9/2013: Sagittarius in the Spotlight

As you may remember from yesterday, the Moon is void-of-course in Sagittarius, suggesting a day best suited for brainstorming and other creative/meditative pursuits that also broaden your horizons or facilitate opportunities to express opinion. Go with the flow of unexpected twists and delays that may impede your efforts to move forward in a straight line. Remember that crises that crop up are often much ado about nothing. Chill, baby, chill!

Speaking of opinions, Jon Stewart was in rare form last night, and I can’t resist using his opening monologue on gun control as an example of the the righteous energy of Sagittarius. Dear Readers, people with Sun  — and especially the Moon — in Sagittarius need to be like this! Stewart was born on November 28, 1962 in Trenton, NJ.  His birth time is unknown, but he definitely has Moon in Sag, too, as well as Mercury (which refers to the way we need to think and communicate). Is there anyone else on the planet who so clearly needs to tell the world his opinion — and have said world show him a ton of respect? Well, actually talking head Ann Coulter is a Sagittarius — with Mercury, Venus and Mars (mindset, social expression and passion all dedicated to serving the need to express opinion, no matter how blunt or dumbfounding. She  might have Moon in Sagittarius, too, if she was born before 8PM on Dec 8, 1961 in New York, NY. Here’s a recent clip of Ms. Coulter and her two cents’worth on gun control…or, if you prefer, watch this classic Ann Coulter parody created by the good folks at Saturday Night Live, which is arguably much more coherent, though no less opinionated and righteous.

Astro-logical Forecast for Tuesday 1/8/2013: Lighten Up

Moon entered high-flying Sagittarius at 3:28AM ET.  Well that should lighten the intensity many felt over the past few days. Note your dreams upon waking, as a challenge between the gamboling Sag Moon and nebulous Neptune may have taken you on a sublime or surreal journey. Moon in Sagittarius is an excellent time for travel and other activities that broaden your mind, including righteous and fiery discussions on philosophical subjects. We may hear some particularly bombastic opinions expressed around 3:05PM ET, when the Moon is opposed by expansive Jupiter. This opposition also suggests other indulgences, such as a binge or shopping spree.

We are in the dark side of the Moon, a time for wrapping up whatever intentions you set at the New Moon few weeks ago. Remember what those were? Well if not, you have a chance to set your intentions anew on January 11th, with the Capricorn New Moon at 2:44PM ET. Next week would be the time to launch important new ventures.

Get it off your desk today or plan to ship it on Thursday or early Friday. Moon goes void-of-course at 9:28PM ET tonight, not to enter the next sign until 3:54AM ET Thursday. If you are new to the forecast (welcome!) and you are not familiar with Moon voids, click here. Understanding this very common planetary pattern can save you plenty of grief. Basically, voids suggest 1) efforts to move forward in a straight line are more likely to be fraught with delays, twists and misunderstandings;and 2) crises that crop up are often much ado about nothing (i.e., don’t panic!). Voids are wonderful for chilling out, brainstorming and recharging — and if you can do that during the all-day void on Wednesday, good on you. Fun fact:  sports matches played during voids often favor the underdog and are notable for surprise upsets. As I type, Alabama is trouncing top-ranked Notre Dame 28-0 during Monday’s all-day void, and the game is not even half over.

And now, the news. I saw plenty of headlines reflecting truth about corruption, suggested by the annual hook-up between ruthless Pluto and mental Mercury. Lance Armstrong is reportedly close to admitting his past drug use. Investigative reporter Matt Taibbi filed another must-read expose, this one about the TARP funds in the alleged bailout of 2008.  And if you were a part of Occupy Wall Street in the fall of 2011, congratulations, the FBI may have a file on you.

Last, but not least, another story about harsh realities — with a happy ending. This 77-year-old man spent 14 years in prison, 10 of those in solitary confinement, where his only companions were a few rats and a frog. He was sent to prison in the early 70s, after a brief career as an urban guerrilla. When he was apprehended, he was apparently shot six times. When he was released from prison, he embarked on a new career and worked his way up the ranks. In a nation known for its cattle, he is a vegetarian. He donates 90% of his salary to charity. His lifestyle is described as “austere,” but he seems quite content  — and is happily married. He is Jose Mujica, the president of Uruguay, and for those of you who are going through tough times, I thought you might find his story inspiring. Plus, transiting Pluto at 9 Capricorn is exactly opposing Mujica’s Venus at 9 Cancer, suggesting an empowering surge in social prominence — so of course he’s making news at this time. Isn’t that interesting? (birth data: 5/20/35 in Montevideo, Uruguay)

Astro-logical Forecast for Saturday-Monday 1/5-7/2013: Cut to the Chase

There’s no reason why you can’t have a perfectly pleasant Saturday and a perfectly social Saturday night of rest and relaxation. Note that the Moon will be void between 6:13PM ET and 1:09 AM ET on SUNDAY (West Coasters, finish your shopping before 3:13PM PT).

Sunday is when Moon enters moody bastard Scorpio and we all run screaming down the hall. OK, that’s a slight exaggeration. But Sunday could be intense. Sunday the truth is out there, and it may end up in your face, with no apologies. This is suggested by mental Mercury (ideas, communication) aligning with ruthless Pluto (ruler of Scorpio) at 11:24AM ET.  Extreme depth of perception, sharp communications and the exposure of something buried and possibly rotten are all possible today.  Got a research or strategy session planned? You can cut right to the chase.

A stubborn clash of wills or outburst of rebellious passion may hit at 5:05PM ET Sunday eve (aggressive Mars squares the Scorpio Moon), leading to serious and/or heavy thoughts of loss, frustration or discipline. This is not necessarily unproductive, but it is still intense. A physical workout would be a good release for potential seething energy.

Be aware that the Moon will be void from 6:31AM ET on Monday until 3:28AM Tuesday, and that crises which crop up during Moon voids are often much ado about nothing. Keep this in mind on Monday at 2:33PM ET,when stern Saturn  — also in “take no prisoners” Scorpio — squares off against a militant Mars in Aquarius. You may not get what you want, but you might just get what you need. Cue Mick Jagger now, please — before he got all old and stuff…

You will be more personally affected by the Mars-Saturn square if you were born around the 30th of January, April, July or October…or if you have an angle or planet at 10 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius. With the Moon void all through business hours Monday, I’m taking the day off.

Astro-logical Forecast for Friday 1/4/2013: “L’etat, c’est moi…”

A disruptive jolt or flash of insight may greet you upon waking, assuming you’re a very early riser on the East Coast, as Moon in people-pleasing Libra confronts rebel Uranus at 4:52AM ET. This morning is filled with high energy and confidence that lifts spirits for just about everyone.  Others may be so inflated that they declare, “I’m not bossy, I just have better ideas!” Why? Because Mars, Jupiter and Moon are aligned — ever so briefly — in a Grand Trine pattern (imagine an equilateral triangle), which some see as lucky and very easy-going. Whee! Let’s see if the stock markets go up.

Others (and here I would be thinking of astrologer Noel Tyl), have observed this pattern in conjunction with intellectual snobbery and an attitude of  being above the law.  And it is this attitude which may lead to the emotional catharsis or power play that may hit the headlines around lunchtime, as Moon is challenged by ruthless Pluto. The Last Quarter Moon, which should recall whatever was on your New Moon agenda a few weeks ago, is exact at 10:58PM ET. Another challenge perhaps, as we get ready to wrap up another lunar cycle.

This idea of being “above the law” made me think of Gerard Depardieu, the French actor who was just granted Russian citizenship.  Why? To avoid paying taxes in France. He just moved to Belgium, as you may have heard. In fact, Depardieu does not have an “above the law” Grand Trine in his horoscope. However, he was born on December 27th, so you should immediately know what that means, because we’ve been talking about late December birthdays all month. Depardieu’s Sun at 5 degrees Capricorn and Jupiter at 9 Capricorn suggest a prominent need for freedom and empowerment right this minute, as they are directly impacted by the current Uranus-Pluto square.

The reigning need behind Depardieu’s personal Emancipation Proclamation is a 27 Scorpio Moon (same as Mitt Romney), suggesting a need for power and control. Bet he feels in control now, eh? Depardieu’s Uranus opposes his Sagittarius Ascendant, which to me certainly explains that “just rolled out of a hayloft” animal magnetism (and reinforces that need for freedom thing).  Here is his horoscope.

If you were born between the 24th and 31st of December, March, June and September OR if you have an angle or a planet between 4 and 11 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, my money says you’ve got a lot going on right now. Many of my newest clients fall into this category. And so does nearly everyone who is making the headlines…

Astro-logical Forecast for Thursday 1/3/2013: A Day for Clearing Out Cobwebs

Most of the U.S. will be waking up just before an indulgent challenge between Moon in exacting, prissy Virgo and Venus in rumpled, rowdy Sagittarius (exact at 7:15AM ET), at which point Moon goes void until 8:11PM ET. Efforts to get it right and/or please your partner(s) may be criticized over form, not content…and with the Moon void-of-course, howls of dismay may spin out of control. If only that exacting Moon could take a chill pill, it might benefit from the innovative ideas and communication that will no doubt burst upon the scene, courtesy of a challenge between mental Mercury and rebel, cobweb-blasting Uranus.

That Mercury-Uranus challenge was certainly in effect yesterday, as stunned lawmakers were shocked, shocked I tell you — that the 112th Congress went home for good, yet failed to vote on a bill that would have provided billions of dollars to help the folks in New York and New Jersey who are still struggling to recover from Hurricane Sandy. OK, what do you expect from a Congress recently pronounced the most unproductive in U.S. history, as Gail Collins cheerfully explains. Still, New York Congressman Peter King, himself a Republican, was so irked that he told Fox News that any New Yorker who gave money to a Republican Congressperson was “out of their minds”. Holy floodlights, Batman! Could Rep. King have been suggesting that because a billionaire or a corporation in New York gives a ton of money to a Congressman, the New York donors should expect something in return from that Congressman, even if he might have allegedly been elected to office by some people in…Ohio? Why…I’m shocked, shocked! Mercury-Uranus strikes again!

: )

In other news, Al-Jazeera is buying Current TV, the network co-founded by Al Gore. Incredible! And a new study suggests that “Fat per se is not as bad as we thought,” That’s right – your saddlebag thighs are fabulous and they are not a threat to your health! Amazing! And did you know that a 22-year-old woman of Russian-Jewish descent “almost single-handedly wrote women’s rights into the Constitution of modern Japan“?! Her name was Beate Gordon, and she passed away in Manhattan this week. She led a fascinating life…and her contribution to Japan’s Constitution gave more rights to Japanese women than women have in America. Stunning!

And finally, speaking of fascinating and fat, would you believe that author/filmmaker Michael Moore has a new calling: fitness guru! For the past nine months, he’s worked tirelessly to get people off the couch and on their feet, with utterly inspiring results. Who knew?

What flashes of brilliance and insight will you encounter today in your own personal world? Really, the sky’s the limit, especially under the auspices of a harmonious connection between physical Mars and expansive Jupiter. Optimism and vigorous exercise of mind and body…with a little something for the soul, too. Your soul will thank you if you can take time to chill and/or brainstorm a bit during this long Moon void. At the very least, go for a walk.

Moon enters people-pleasing Libra at 8:11PM ET tonight — good for social interaction, preferably with those who have something innovative, intelligent and pleasant to say.

To be continued…

Astro-logical Forecast for Wednesday 1/2/2013: Happy ’13!

…and a very Happy New Year, to YOU!

If you’re heading back to the office, you can move with efficiency and attention to detail, courtesy of the Moon in Virgo. Two supportive connections to potent Pluto and disciplined Saturn around 6:30AM ET can push you forward with depth, emotional connection and practical application. A harmonious connection between the earthy Sun in Capricorn and the Virgo Moon is the icing on the cake, only without the sugar crash.

There’s a buzz in the air regarding communication, travel and mindset, courtesy of mental Mercury about to be challenged by the ongoing Uranus-Pluto square (exact Thursday AM and Sunday AM). Talk of rebellion, innovation, revelation, transformation, power plays, resources, corruption exposed and moving beyond borders will likely be front and center in the headlines. You are personally affected by this aspect if you have an angle or planet between 4 and 11 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn.

If you have to get something out the door, do it today or Friday. The Moon will be void-of-course from 7:15AM ET to 8:11PM ET on Thursday, so one thing you will want to avoid doing is having the first session of the 113th Congress convene on that…oh…(long pause)…never mind. It’s already on their calendar for 12PM in Washington DC. (cue sound of head banging on wall now). Sigh. More on the significance of that event in tomorrow’s forecast. Apparently there is a silver lining…

So. What do planetary patterns suggest for 2013, and what does it mean to you? I will tell you over the next few days in detailed discussions of the following:

  • Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn
  • Neptune in Pisces
  • Saturn in Scorpio
  • Jupiter in Gemini and Cancer

Right now I would like to share a little New Year’s Eve story. For some reason during the void-of-course Moon in Leo on Monday, I was inspired to shred all the receipts from 2000-2005 that I’d carefully organized in accordion files — one for each year.  Apparently you don’t have to keep these files for more than seven years, and I really wanted to create some space in my storage closet. Now as you know, Moon voids suggest a surprise twist or delay in project undertaken during such times. And boy was I surprised to discover — in the file for 2003– three friends from the Stone People Family.Really, who keeps rocks and crystals in their tax receipt files, especially a folder labelled “Office Supplies”.

First:  a large amethyst crystal that fits with perfection in the palm of my hand. I don’t remember how this came into my possession, only that I got it decades ago and obviously had not seen it since 2003. Amethysts are associated with psychic ability. Second: a heart made of rose quartz, which is associated with love. No idea where that stone came from. Third: a small beige-brown stone — perhaps jasper (good for grounding) — upon which is inscribed, “Believe”.  No idea where that came from, either. Any of you psychics out there have a clue?

Such a precious New Year’s gift had to be shared with others. My wish for you, dear Reader, is that you may be blessed with the power of intuition (amethyst), love to heal a broken heart (rose quartz) and faith that stems from a solid foundation (jasper). May these carry through 2013 and always!

And yes, yes, YES…I realize yesterday was a holiday and some of you were still recovering from TMC (too much champagne). So if you’d like to take advantage of my super amazing holiday special (at a perfectly fabulous price), the offer is still valid through today…with gratitude to those of you who asked. Besides, I do not want you to feel like you’re having a day like the two dinosaurs in this very clever cartoon…

Astro-logical Forecast for Monday 12/31/2012: Out With a Bang!

Fine evening for a party, doncha’ know, as Moon continues its sojourn through fiery Leo. And why not end the last day of 2012 on a high note, fiscal cliff be danged? A frustrating square between aggressive Mars and stern Saturn is exact next Monday; that’s when I think we’ll know what’s really going down. Did I mention Moon is in Leo all day and tonight? Fine evening for a party….

Mercury — which refers to mind and communication — enters practical Capricorn at 9:03AM ET. Having outrageous opinions is no longer sufficient (Mercury in Sagittarius fostered that atmosphere over the past few weeks). Now we’ll be looking for practical plans for reality-based action. Add an innovative, unconventional, technological spin to those ideas, and reap the benefits of a supportive connection between action-oriented Mars and rebel Uranus, exact at 9:32PM ET.

Moon goes void-of-course at 4:52PM ET on a easy connection to Venus in Sagittarius, encouraging social expression that is looking for gambol or a gamble. Let’s hope everyone has the good sense to call it a day, as opposed to trying to make a final decision on an important fiscal matter when the Moon is drifting through the cosmos without a rudder. Voids are great for brainstorming. Not so good for votes. Remember, during Moon voids, odds are strong you’ll experience a twist in your efforts to move forward in a straight line. Also remember that crises that arise during voids are usually “much ado about nothing”.

Party on, dudes…into the wee hours. Moon doesn’t enter the next sign — Virgo — until 9:35AM ET on Tuesday. By then you’ll be ready to list your New Year’s resolutions in exacting detail, no doubt inspired by the rose-colored fog of a challenge from nebulous Neptune at 11:39AM ET. That fog will lift by Wednesday, and I’m betting we’ll hear some startling news before mental Mercury is challenged by disruptive Uranus at 8:29 ET on Wednesday morning.

Going once…going twice…my super amazing holiday special is available for purchase through January 1, 2013. Book a one-hour consultation for yourself or a friend, relative or colleague (they will love you so much) and get ready to plan a strategy to maximize the opportunities suggested by planetary patterns in the New Year. And ohhhhhhhhhhh what a year it is going to be…

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Astro-logical Forecast for Friday 12/28/2012 & The Weekend: Full Moon in Cancer & May the Force Be With You

At 3:06PM ET on Thursday, Moon entered the (usually) nurturing sign of Cancer, seeking to fulfill its need for emotional security and the comforts of home and family. If only it were so simple, given the potential for shake-ups and power plays suggested by Moon’s interaction with ruthless Pluto and rebel Uranus, exact Friday at 9:34AM ET and 12:34AM ET, respectively. The Moon reaches its fullness at 5:21AM ET on Friday, echoing the suggestion of a release of whatever emotions/energy have been building over the past several days.  On the plus side, the disruption you may experience offers the potential for profound revelation (Uranus) and transformation (Pluto). If you are feeling disrupted, look for the silver lining. It has to be in there — somewhere.

You are more likely to be feeling the impact of this powerful Full Moon if you were born between the 25th and 31st of March, June, September and December…or if you have a planet or angle between 4 and 10 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. If you are not sure if this applies to you, consult your local astrologer, who would be only too happy to honor this Holiday Special: A One-Hour Astro-logical Consultation (at a very reasonable and fabulous price), which is being offered for purchase through January 1, 2013 (to be scheduled in the New Year).

One of the silver linings of this Full Moon is that it goes void-of-course at 9:43AM ET, not to enter the next sign (Leo), until 2:45AM  on Sunday. Chill, baby, chill — and take the time to process whatever needs to be processed after this day of (likely) rich emotional focus on what makes you feel secure or feel at home. (Note to the Universe: the jackhammers that have been outside my window all morning are not contributing to that feeling of home-y security). Avoid the temptation to go mad at the malls, as impulse purchases made during Moon voids rarely turn out to be as useful as thought. Those items will still be on sale next week, and probably marked down even further.

The other silver lining of the Full Moon is the awesome potential for support, structure and discipline offered by taskmaster Saturn. Whatever realization and/or need for change hits you this weekend, now is the time to put on your big girl panties — or your boxers/tighty-whiteys — and be prepared to do the hard work required to make these changes happen. This applies to changes required for growth in your own personal world and in the collective world. We are all in this together. Each of us has the power to make a positive contribution as an individual, which is a good thing, because we are going to need those positive contributions as we navigate the challenges of the next few years.

What kind of contributions? Funny you should ask. With the Moon in emotional security-seeking Cancer, I was struck by an article about an inventive and extraordinary physics teacher (reflecting Mars currently in a sextile with techno-geek Uranus) who discovers a powerful force that appears to transcend the laws of physics. I guarantee you will be moved by this article and will likely forward it to others.

This force is also the key component in a book I was given for Christmas — The Divine Law of Compensation by Marianne Williamson. Money as a means to security is another Cancerian theme worth contemplating during this long Moon in Cancer void, and Williamson happens to be a Cancer with Moon in enterprising Capricorn; information-junkie Gemini on the Ascendant. Thus she is utterly inclined to present succinct edicts — some of which you may have heard before — on removing blocks we ourselves have created that limit the flow of compensation for work that is divinely inspired. And yes, the book is idealistic (her Sun is conjunct Venus),  boldly unique and innovative/”out-there” (rebel Uranus is also conjunct the Sun); filled with faith (Sun-Venus-Uranus is square nebulous Neptune) that offers grand resources for material reward (Jupiter in Taurus square mental Mercury and potent Pluto in Leo). Williamson’s Mars is in Scorpio, so you can be sure she’s produced something of depth and substance. Birth data: July 8 1952 at 3:53AM in Houston, TX — very intriguing horoscope.

Sunday features the annual meet-up of the Sun with Pluto (8:37AM ET),  suggesting news from underground and a reach for power. Pluto refers to nuclear issues, mines, volcanoes, things coming to the surface after being long-buried. In Japan, US military personnel are suing Tokyo Electric Power Company for TEPCO’s alleged failure to disclose the truth about leaked radiation in the wake of the 2011 tsunami which shut down the Fukushima nuclear power plant. Meanwhile, in Washington, alleged lawmakers have convened for a rare late-December session to try to work out a few pressing fiscal issues, including the “fiscal cliff”.  Friday’s meeting at the White House could be good for brainstorming, given the Moon void — but no final decisions should be made. Sunday would be an appropriate day to act with empowerment and reach an accord, given potent and cooperative planetary patterns…but as astrologer Noel Tyl always says, “Planets don’t do things. People do”.

The Moon will be in Leo as of 2:45AM ET Sunday. This is a festive, fiery energy that is excellent for play, royal drama or a “teachable moments” (Leo can be an awesome coach). Be mindful while you are out and about this weekend, as in: be exceptionally aware of your surroundings and the people near you. The fallout from this Full Moon is intense; some are not processing it well. I am writing this from the perspective of a New Yorker who notes that a second man was pushed in front of an oncoming subway train last night, apparently by a total stranger (a young woman) in a seemingly random encounter.

I hope this forecast finds you enjoying only good things from the break this holiday week usually inspires (and which planetary patterns this year do support).

Astro-logical Forecast for Monday 12/24- 27ish/2012: Merry Christmas!

No exact aspects among the planets and a comfort-seeking Taurus Moon can make this day feel like a long, lazy stroll in a (snowy)  meadow. Really, what’s the rush? Go about your last-minute holiday errands with ease, and look forward to an evening of sensual delights: good food, music, wine — whether you are celebrating Christmas or not. If your idea of a perfect holiday is  Chinese and a movie, here’s a song just for you.

The pace picks up noticeably when, after a brief Moon void between 12:58AM ET and 2:13AM ET on Wednesday, Moon buzzes into chatty Gemini and squares off with nebulous Neptune at 4:04AM ET. Those who are expecting a magical Christmas morning are not likely to be disappointed. Note your dreams upon waking. This bliss can wax rhapsodic well into evening, courtesy of a buoyant connection to the Moon from Jupiter, the cosmic sugardaddy, at 7:18PM ET. This connection may also manifest as Too Much of Everything, and Kalle Lasn, publisher of magazine Adbusters (which sparked Occupy Wall Street), has some thoughts on that. And speaking of magic, here’s an update on the Rolling Jubilee, a non-profit with a creative way of helping some who are overextended get out of debt.

Notable planetary patterns on the 25th include aggressive Mars finally leaving Capricorn at 7:49PM ET. Where is it going? I’ll tell you. Mars, which refers to action, will be in Aquarius from 12/25 until February 1, 2013.  Noel Tyl calls Mars in Aquarius the “rebel with a cause”. So we can expect action in the headlines involving rebellious and/or humanitarian concerns, some of which will have a technogeeky (Aquarius) or “on the fringe” flavor. Think aviation, circuitry, freedom, astrology, outer space, uranium, what’s allegedly “best for everyone”.  Those sorts of things.

The other pattern of note, which was mentioned in last week’s forecast, is rebel Uranus in impulsive Aries squaring the Capricorn Sun at 8:32PM ET. In your own personal world, you may note that your Christmas family gathering may involve one or more statements of conflicting independence, even over something as minor as what movie you’re all going to see. Les Miserables, anyone?

Your Moon voids for the week suggest opportunity for a nice long holiday break;
Thursday, 12/27 1:50AM ET until 3:06PM ET;Friday 12/28 9:43AM ET…until 2:45 AM ET SUNDAY 12/30.

I’ll be back with a forecast Wednesday or Thursday to talk about Friday’s Full Moon.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!!!

Astro-logical Forecast for Saturday & Sunday 12/22-23/2012: Comfort and Joy

Briefly….

The impulsive, proactive and impatient Aries Moon goes void of course at 7:57AM ET, on a challenging aspect to aggressive Mars. If an especially explosive headline regarding some larger than life outburst of violence makes news, I will not be surprised. Patience and awareness of potentially impulsive and self-centered behavior is advised, at least until 1:25PM ET, when the Moon stabilizes in the sign of Taurus. Be especially mindful if you are traveling this morning.

The sensual, comfort and stability-seeking Moon in Taurus graces our lives until 12:58AM on Tuesday (12/25). Oohhh how lovely for holiday baking and caroling and mulled wine and shopping for everyone left on your list.  Saturday night could be especially grand and/or indulgent, courtesy of the opposition between loving Venus and expansive Jupiter, exact at 10:50PM ET.

Now here’s where things get interesting. Despite the calm stability of the Taurus Moon, which drives the vibe of the next few days, we are also getting closer and closer to an exact challenge between rebel Uranus in warrior/pioneer Aries and the Sun in Capricorn, sign of the Establishment. And we are building to a Full Moon next Friday, which will involved the sensitive Moon in Cancer with the disruptive Uranus-Pluto square. Adding to that excitement will be the Sun’s annual meet-up with ruthless Pluto, exact on the 30th.We saw similar patterns at the time of the Full Moon on September 29th. I expect we’ll see more than a few prominent shake-ups and power plays between now and then. If you were born between the 24th and 31st of March, June, September and December, you will be feeling the push for freedom and empowerment more than the rest of us. Keep an eye out for opportunities that will allow you to spread your wings.

Did you wait until the last-minute to do your Christmas shopping? Never fear; gift certificates are here! Everyone on your list will love you for gifting them with a one-hour personal astro-logical consultation, available until January 1st, 2013 at a very reasonable price (appointments may be scheduled in the New Year).
